Siyan Zhang (b.1994) is an installation artist based in Leipzig and Berlin. She works with a rich exploration of media, touching on themes such as memory, state control, personhood, and trauma. Her work bridges between corporal materiality and subjectivity, often revealing the rules, laws, and paradox of which, and opens up new possibilities to look at the realities that govern our lives.
