christianholze Instaram Christian Holze (*1988) lives and works in Leipzig. Holze studied media art, sculpture and painting at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig, the Academy of Visual Arts in Vienna and the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg. In his work, he combines various artistic categories into hybrids: object, 3D graphics, painting and installation. For him, exploring and dissolving these categories is just as essential as the fusion of analog and digital working practices. The marketing strategies of current technology and luxury goods companies are as much a part of Holze’s artistic archive as is the supposed identity-giving qualities of their products. By affirmatively approaching the research topics arising from this, Holze’s work itself repeatedly slips into the role of the product.
