ERASMUS gives students the opportunity to study in another European country and expand their artistic, cultural and social skills. They get to know the academic system of a foreign university and benefit from its teaching and learning methods. After completing their second year of study, HGB students can complete (several) sponsored study visits of between three and twelve months at a foreign partner university. The program offers students the following services:
- Support in preparing for the stay abroad
- Academic recognition of academic achievements abroad
- Exemption from tuition fees at the host university
- If applicable, an ERASMUS online language course “OLS - Online Language Support”
- ERASMUS grant
All students enrolled at the HGB, regardless of their nationality, are eligible for an ERASMUS study abroad program. ERASMUS mobility is not possible for guest students, program students or other students who are only temporarily enrolled at the HGB.
The internal HGB application deadline is January 15 for the following academic year. An e-mail with the call for applications is sent out university-wide in mid-December.
