Anselm Benedikt Hötte has been working as a research associate in the audiovisual workshops and in the media art department at the HGB since 2012. His field of work includes computer-aided design, computer art and digital media. He oversees the following topics through project work and consultations:

- Vinyl plot / cutting plot
- Compositing
- Online publications, web technologies
- Offline publications, DTP
In addition, Anselm Benedikt Hötte looks after the computer rooms of the AVW and the Apple infrastructure of the HGB.
