The programme (Un)learning Digitalities. For Theory and Practice of the Digital conceives and realises transdisciplinary formats such as lectures, practical workshops, seminars, interventions, a symposium, online platforms and a publication together with HGB teachers, students, artists, designers and scientists.
Six Evening Lectures in 2025/26 will create a forum for exchange between artistic, theoretical and digital practices by inviting international positions.
On 15 April, the transdisciplinary artist, writer and DJ Juliana Huxtable will speak on topics such as technology, trans-species, the internet and identity.
Juliana Huxtable is a writer, artist and musician who lives and works between New York and Berlin. She has had solo exhibitions at Reena Spaulings, New York, Project Native Informant, London, and the Museum of Modern Art, among others. Her work has been exhibited and included in the collections of the Guggenheim Museum, The New Museum, the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Studio Museum in Harlem and the ICA London. Her forthcoming poetry collection will be published by Wonder Press in 2025. Her first collection of texts, Mucus in My Pineal Gland, was co-published by Wonder Press and Capricious in 2017. She co-wrote the novel Life: A Novel with Hannah Black, published by Buchhandlung Walther König in 2018.
