As part of "Green Culture Dortmund," a talk on the topic of ecological sustainability and digital art will take place at Dortmunder U.
Henning Mohr, head of the Institute for Cultural Policy of the Kulturpolitische Gesellschaft e.V. and Christin Lahr, artist, curator and professor for media art in Berlin and Leipzig, will discuss the issues and challenges for cultural institutions in relation to a better interaction with nature.
The conversation will be moderated by Stefanie Dowidat, transformation manager for sustainable culture and spokeswoman for the exhibitions working group of the Deutscher Museumsbund e.V. and Dr. Florence Thurmes, director of Museum Ostwall at Dortmunder U.
"Green Culture Dortmund" is an initiative of various cultural institutions in Dortmund that have set themselves the goal of reducing their carbon footprint. From March 23 to March 31, the topic of sustainability (from an ecological point of view) will be in focus at various cultural institutions.
