Brandenburger Str. 2
related to the exhibition Die Heiligkeit des Handelns
In this workshop, two or three-dimensional research is conducted into how light and line can be represented. Starting from observation, the focus is on formal implementation. Basic means of design will be tested, with the possibility of artistic expression. The ways of abstraction will be explored. Through experimentation and the search for unconventional solutions, skills and approaches are expanded and explored. The technical implementation will take place in the areas of drawing, paper objects and as work in space.
I would like to explore the following questions with the participants:
How do I transform light into a sign? Light as a line?
What can a line say? What statements does a line make?
How many possibilities are there for a line?
How can I combine light and line?
How can I draw with light and/or line in space?
Participants can work individually or in teams.
This workshop is primarily for students who want to expand their design vocabulary.
