Steffen Kraska’s approach is antidisciplinary, resisting simple categorization. He uses techniques from the fields of computer-based simulation,
neuronal networks, audio-visual programming, web interventions, 3D modeling and animation, as well as photography and video to produce
installative compositions that can be seen in virtual spaces and theaters, as well as traditional visual art spaces.

Based in Berlin, he began his studies in the Class for Installation and Spatial Art after receiving his Bachelors degree at the MAFAD (former ABKM)
in Maastricht.

In his work, Kraska wants to quantify the amount of objectivity that perception can produce (for us). He is searching for errors and Irregularities
that occur in the translation process between the outer world and our inner conceptions.
He questions the mental reflex of just accepting our perception as real, or true.
